Sandro, a renowned painter and engraver, opens the doors of what was once the cradle of his art, now transformed into a cozy home for travelers. The interior, where modernity enhances antiquity, begins with the living room at the entrance. Here, a sofa transforms into a comfortable queen-size bed, inviting relaxation. The kitchen, fully equipped with modern appliances and a welcome kit, promises moments of conviviality and culinary discoveries.
An open staircase leads to the first floor, where a spacious master bedroom bathed in natural light unfolds, equipped with two windows and a door to the terrace. The terrace, adorned with an elegant pergola, offers an outdoor theater to admire the horizon at any time, with a table and chairs for panoramic breakfasts and lounge chairs for moments of reading and relaxation under the sun.
An intimate wooden loft, accessed by a ladder, conceals a comfortable futon bed, ideal for immersing oneself in the pages of a book or dedicating oneself to meditation, suspended between art and history.

Sandro, a talented artist, has converted his old art studio from his days as a student at the Academy of Fine Arts into a marvelous vacation home. Now, with joy, he welcomes visitors from every corner of the world who share his passion for art and the culture of our enchanting region.
The house is located a short distance from the Churches of San Filippo Neri and delle Anime Sante del Purgatorio, as well as from the magnificent Palazzo Cosentini and Palazzo Sortino Trono, which are among the 18 monuments in Ragusa recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. The area is well served by a large public parking lot and offers a variety of restaurants and bars where you can treat your taste buds with local specialties such as arancine di Montalbano or ricotta cannoli, as well as indulge in the delicacies offered by Michelin-starred restaurants located just a few steps away from the house. Additionally, there is a nearby urban bus stop to facilitate transportation. If you wish to visit Ragusa Ibla and Ragusa Superiore, you can reach them on foot, but if you want to explore the surrounding areas such as Modica or Scicli, we recommend renting a car as public transportation is not very efficient.
